Very bad news

What an awful way to start the new year - a very kind and sweet woman that I know at Temple Concord died over the weekend.  The obituary in the local paper is vague about the cause of death, and I know she was depressed over family issues and a job loss, so I fear the worst. I really wish I'd called her over the holidays - I've been so busy with the kids that I really didn't think of her, though I knew she was alone.  The world is full of so many poisonous people - she was really needed to help balance things out.  I always feel so sad and frustrated when we lose gentle souls like her!
