So discouraging

 I've been talking to this guy for a month and a half. He's by far the most promising person I've connected with online since I moved here. 

It's so frustrating to invest so much time and energy in getting to know a person, to feel like there's a real connection there, and then this.

I don't for a minute think he decided not to date anyone. He's a paying subscriber. I think he met somebody else who he likes better, and doesn't want to admit it.

This message arrived the same night I went on yet another date where the guy talked the whole time, more than 2 hours in the restaurant. He asked me almost nothing about myself and learned almost nothing about me.
